Wall & Deco has just released a new video highlighting some fantastic new designs from their 2013 collection. Check it out!
KnollTextiles has a history of cool collaborations with other companies and designers like Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, and Abbott Miller from Pentagram, just to name a few. The latest to be added to this list is wallpaper company Trove.
Trove specializes in wallcoverings that contain “large scale photographic and impressionistic qualities that are mainly organic in nature.”
When Trove design duo Jee Levin and Randall Buck teamed up with Dorothy Cassonas, Creative Director of KnollTextiles, they created the Vivid Collection. The Vivid Collection for KnollTextiles includes three patterns in various colorways and each one has “a painterly expressionistic effect and large scale design” perfect for spaces that need an accent wall.

And in related wallpaper news, we’ve changed out the wallpaper in our small alcove near the front of the Vastu showroom! Stop by this weekend and check it out.
Day 2 at the Salone del Mobile brought Vastu co-owners Eric and Jason to an event hosted by Wallpaper Magazine and Kvadrat, the Danish textile company. Kvadrat was celebrating the 65th anniversary of their textile, Hallingdal.
Check out these awesome photos!
Check out these great images I found on the website of one of our wallpaper vendors. Merging big, bold and beautiful wallpapers with mid-century classics definitely seems to be the way to go!
Wallpaper. Love it or hate it, you have to admit that we’re seeing a resurgence in its use. Whether you apply it all of the walls in a room or use it to create an accent wall, the wallpaper of today may surprise you.
Wallpaper manufacturers are making lots of changes that may just surprise you. Various textures, finishes and even digital printing can all find their way onto your wallpapered walls.
While we tend to keep our clients’ walls neutral, sometimes a space just screams for a large graphic wallpaper or maybe even the slightest shimmer of a metallic finish. Here are just a few of the ways our Vastu designers like to get wild with wallpaper.
We know you’ve been waiting to see pictures of Eric’s rooms since his episode of Showhouse Showdown premiered on September 12th. Especially if you weren’t able to catch it or DVR it. Well continue on below to see photos of Eric’s designs and a list of products shown in each room!
Hey Design Clique readers! First we’d like to thank you for watching Eric last night in the premiere episode of Showhouse Showdown on HGTV. We had some great comments on our Facebook page and had fun following the conversation on Twitter (via #ShowhouseShowdown). While Eric didn’t win this episode, we don’t feel down at all. We love the relationships we have with our vendors and being able to show you how we use their products in a well-designed space (if we do say so ourselves) on a national stage was awesome!
Stay tuned to Design Clique in the next few days as we’ll be sharing some great info on the products used in Eric’s showhouse like the EcoSmart Firebox 1200DB or the fabulous Blossom Wallpaper as seen in the master bedroom!
‘M’ is for ‘Merge’
Wallpaper is back in a major way. If you’re thinking about using wallpaper in your space, consider Merge wallcovering from KnollTextiles. It is available in 8 different colors and is made of vinyl – so it’s really durable.
‘G’ is for Gothica
Add an element of interest to your space with Gothica wallpaper. Available in a number of patterns and colors, this wallpaper can be applied to a single surface (as shown above) to create an accent wall. For a really bold statement, consider applying the wallpaper to an entire room.
