Dorothy Cosonas, KnollTextiles and Knoll Luxe creative director, recently designed 3 new fabrics for the Knoll Luxe 2011 collection that were inspired by current fashion trends: Arabella, Grammercy, and Vermeer. Arabella and Gramercy are both large-scale velvet upholstery fabrics while Vermeer is more like a classic Knoll knubby-textured fabric.
The colors are great, and as upholstery fabrics they’re a fabulous way to bring the fashion industry into your home and onto your Knoll pieces.
Do you have a challenging space or need some design guidance? Design Direction is a chance for you to submit photos or videos of your design challenge(s) and a Vastu interior designer will provide you with some help. Every Wednesday we will feature one reader’s submission.
“Hello Vastu Team! I recently took some dining room chairs off my mother’s hands. I’d like to re-cover the seat cushions, but I’m not sure what to look for in a new fabric. Please help!”
KnollTextiles has introduced their Fall 2009 collection. In their own words…
This performance upholstery collection combines clean, clear color with classic geometric patterning and is designed to coordinate seamlessly within an interior.
