Tempe Star SW 6229

“I am about to move into a new home.. YEAH!! I have always dreamed of having my bedroom in a romantic PURPLE. Of course the entire room wouldn’t be purple but my comforter would set the tone for the room. Recently my love and I were looking and decided on 4 colors for our new home. HE decided that the walls in the bedroom can be TEMPE STAR. While I totally agree this color must go on a wall in our home, He crushed my dream of PURPLE in my bedroom or did he??? Help!! I totally need bedroom ideas for both of us to be happy.”

Guest post: Window treatments can reduce energy costs

February 12, 2010 · Posted in Window Treatments · 1 Comment

Today’s post comes from Richard Moyle, the content writer for Horizon Window Treatments in New York City. Horizon has the largest showroom in Manhattan and has provided the NYC metro area with high-quality custom blinds, shades and draperies for over 10 years.

The primary concerns most people have when shopping for new window treatments are decoration and privacy. But certain types of window treatments can cut your energy costs in half by preventing heat loss or gain. This is not only good for your wallet, but for the environment as well. “Hi. I live in a small one bedroom condo (600 sq ft) in Arlington. The building is very new, but the living room is small. I have a round glass table table and two custom chairs in the dining area, an Italian leather sofa and a very modern leather chair. I bought a media unit for the TV and to use as storage for books, files, etc., however I find the unit to be too big for the space. The sofa now seems too dark for the room and there is a bit too much leather. Any ideas? Many thanks!”
