New to the Showroom: Ottomans, Tables and Rugs (Oh My!)
We’ve received some brand new things for the Vastu showroom in the past week and we think you’re going to like them!
First up is the Risom Amoeba Table from Knoll in Light Walnut.
Next we have the new Henry Storage Ottoman from Gus* Modern. Available in black or white leather, the ottoman features a soft-closing lid and enough room for blankets, throw pillows or anything else you’d like to hide away.

New to the Showroom: Krusin Guest Seating Collection
Back in September we introduced you to the new Krusin Lounge and Side Chairs that were designed by Marc Krusin and available from Knoll. Well we recently received our very own floor models and we love them! With arm and armless versions of both the Side and Lounge Chair and various wood, stain and lacquer options as well as hundreds of fabric and leather choices (or the woven paper rush seat) there’s most definitely a Krusin chair for everyone.

Running from October 15th to the 23rd and sponsored by the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, National Design Week is its “largest education initiative, [which] aims to draw national attention to the ways in which design enriches everyday life.”

The Knoll Sale: Inspiration

The Annual Knoll Space Sale started last Friday and the weekend kicked it off just right! If you didn’t have time to make it in Saturday or Sunday, don’t fret because it runs until the end of this coming weekend (the 2nd). To give you some inspiration, Knoll has this great website filled with images of classic Knoll pieces and beautifully designed spaces. Be warned, however, that you can get lost and lose track of time as there are a lot of pictures and they’re all equally interesting and beautiful.

As Seen On Eric Kole’s Showhouse Showdown
We know you’ve been waiting to see pictures of Eric’s rooms since his episode of Showhouse Showdown premiered on September 12th. Especially if you weren’t able to catch it or DVR it. Well continue on below to see photos of Eric’s designs and a list of products shown in each room!
Brian Petro’s Showhouse Debut
Vastu art dealer, Brian Petro was recently on tv alongside Eric Kole. Okay, well, Brian wasn’t physically there, but some of his art was!
In charge of finding new and exciting art and artists to showcase in our showroom, Brian has been a friend of Vastu’s for quite some time. He occasionally has exhibitions in our space and you can even seee him at work during one of the many open studios that occur throughout the year.
For his episode of HGTV’s Showhouse Showdown, Eric used three of Brian’s pieces from his Grocery series. They beautifully adorned the wall in the family room and looked great next to the Finland Sectional and Bowie Swivel Chairs from Steven Anthony and the Saarinen coffee tables from Knoll.
