Thanks Capitol File!
Our Summer 2010 issue of Capitol File came in the mail and guess what?! We’re in it! Vastu is one of seven places listed as destinations for modern decor in the mag’s second annual “guide to the good life in Greater Washington”. A big thank you to Capitol File for including us. Bored with your room…
…change your light fixtures. Have you had the same pendant hanging in your entry or above your dining table for years? Not so fond of the table lamp on your bedside table? Try something new! Choose a fixture that has a printed silk shade, an interesting base finish like chrome or is made of an interesting material to change things up a bit.

Not only is Knoll responsible for producing some of the most sought after furniture designs in the world, they’ve developed some incredibly creative ad/poster designs over the years. Upload a photo of your space that includes the item(s) you purchased from the store to our Facebook page for a chance to win a $50 AMEX gift card. Each month, for the rest of the year, one person who uploads a picture will be selected at random to win the AMEX gift card. Fun, right?!
For the month of July, we’re asking you to upload images of your Vastu chairs. If you purchased a chair of any kind (lounge chair, office chair, dining chair, etc), please share your chair(s) with us on Facebook by posting your picture between July 1 and July 31. If you’ve purchased different types of chairs from us, feel free to post separate pictures of each type of chair for additional entries. We’ll announce a new type of home furnishing to be featured for August and the months following.
