“Hi. I live in a small one bedroom condo (600 sq ft) in Arlington. The building is very new, but the living room is small. I have a round glass table table and two custom chairs in the dining area, an Italian leather sofa and a very modern leather chair. I bought a media unit for the TV and to use as storage for books, files, etc., however I find the unit to be too big for the space. The sofa now seems too dark for the room and there is a bit too much leather. Any ideas? Many thanks!”

If you’re in The District and you haven’t made it over to Cork Market yet, you should definitely go…. now! Just kidding… but, you should try them soon. We don’t love them just because they’re on our block, but because everything is delicious and the staff is very knowledgeable about wine. For eats – try their organic gummy pandas, espresso brownie and turkey BLTA sandwich. For drinks – well their specialty is wine, so ask for suggestions of what to try from the Cork Market team.

“Hello, My Husband and I live in a rather oddly shaped condo in Arlington VA and are looking for ways to shape up the living room to be both pretty and functional. Here are the purposes the living room serves currently: – TV watching area, work from home area, reading area, entertaining and eating area. We would like to get a new couch and position so that it’s not blocking most of our french windows that open to a beautiful sun room. There are a couple of pieces of furniture (the ottoman, the wine rack, the Manhattan chair) that we would like to keep. We are at a loss as to where to begin, so any ideas you have would be very welcomed. Thanks for all your help!”
