Popular home design magazine Metropolitan Home will be no more after the December issue. Hachette Filipacchi Media will be focusing resources on their other design mag, Elle Decor. More here.

Hey – DC folks! Have you made it to Eatonville yet? If not, it’s definitely worth the trip. The menu is inspired by delicious Southern food recipes and the decor pays homage to author Zora Neale Hurston. She is also the inspiration behind the restaurant’s name. The Vastu team has been and we recommend trying the catfish, roasted duck salad, braised collard greens and all the desserts!
