One of the best ways to maximize storage in a bedroom, especially when you’re limited on space, is to get a storage bed. Sort of like a bed and a dresser in one, the storage bed option utilizes the space under a bed which usually goes unused or is jam packed with containers that often don’t provide the same functionality of having actual drawers. The thickness of your carpet or rug. If the storage bed is going to be placed on top of a carpeted floor or rug with a really high pile it may be difficult to open and close your drawers. Just something to think about…
Bed side tables. Most companies that manufacture storage beds also make accompanying bed side tables that allow you to fully extend all of the storage drawers. If you were planning to use your existing tables be sure to take some measurements to see if they will block the drawers at all.
