Before and After: Chevy Chase Victorian I

July 14, 2009 · Posted in Before and After, Interior design projects

Located in Chevy Chase Maryland, this clients’ residence is really something to see. The victorian style single family is adorned with beautiful architectural details.  The homeowners truly take pride in their home.

Vastu was tasked with revamping the living room in order to showcase some of the room’s existing pieces (a coffee table built by the owner, a rug and a side chair) and make the space more functional for entertaining.  Additionally, the homeowners wanted to keep their wall color the same. The clients’ style can be described as eclectic, classic and yet still modern.  And, they wanted to be sure to incorporate some iconic pieces into the new design.  It didn’t take Sarita, one of Vastu’s interior designers, long to devise a plan using the owner’s existing pieces and wall color.  Below are some pictures taken of the pieces that will remain in the room and be incorporated into the new design.
