Food & Friends is an amazing, DC-based organization. Their mission is to foster a community caring for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-challenging illnesses by preparing and delivering specialized meals and groceries in conjunction with nutrition counseling.

On Monday, June 1st, Food & Friends’ supporters will gather at the Hilton Washington for their 19th Annual Chef’s Best Dinner & Auction. This event features 60 of the region’s brightest culinary stars. Guests will enjoy innovative, one-of-a-kind tasting opportunities and have the chance to bid on exciting live and silent auction items.

In 2008, the support of guests at Chef’s Best helped to deliver 913,000 meals to 2,679 children and adults in the District, 7 counties of Maryland and 7 counties and 6 independent cities in Virginia.

Good news – there’s still time to participate! Just click here to purchase tickets. The deadline for online purchases is Thursday, May 28th. You can also purchase tickets at the door the day of then event. Doors will open at 6:30pm.
