Bedroom retreat

The goal - a space that is simple, warm and functional.  The result -

Vastu designer Jason Claire worked with the owners of the above bedroom to develop a space where they would be comfortable and uncluttered, and use as office space.  As the bedroom isn’t a very large space, Jason and the clients decided on a monochromatic palette in warm greys.  Everything from the wall paint, to the bed linens, to the floor covering were just a few tones apart.  The color palette left the room bright and open, without being boring.

To meet their “office” needs, the homeowners went with a custom wall-mounted system to serve as their desk space.  This wall-hanging unit was perfect for this space because it didn’t take up as much space as a typical desk would have. The clients personalized their system to include a desk surface and shelving to use for display and storage.

This was a great space to work on and great clients to work with!
